This Privacy Policy explains how Manufacturing.co (“Manufacturing.co,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit manufacturing.co (the “Site”), submit a form, request a review, or otherwise communicate with us.

By using the Site or submitting information through it, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third-party services that help us operate the Site.

When you complete a form (such as a Manufacturing Modernization Review request, AI Automation Review, sale/transition inquiry, or contact form), we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, business email, phone number, company name, website, manufacturing segment or industry, approximate revenue and EBITDA ranges, ownership situation, your goals or workflows of interest, and the contents of your message.

If you contact us by email, we collect the information contained in your communication. We ask that you not send us sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, or health information) through Site forms or email.

When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically through your device and browser, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Site and to understand aggregate usage.

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure aggregate usage. For details about the categories of cookies we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business and the Site, and in responding to inquiries; the performance of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a potential engagement; and compliance with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, content management, email delivery, and analytics, and who are bound to use the information only to provide those services.

Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Manufacturing.co, our users, or others.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this Privacy Policy.

With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or otherwise consent to its disclosure.

We rely on a small number of reputable providers to operate the Site, including a content management platform (Storyblok) for blog and resource content, an email delivery provider (Resend) to transmit form submissions and notifications, and cloud infrastructure to host the Site. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We retain inquiry and contact information for as long as necessary to respond to and evaluate your request, to maintain business records, and to comply with our legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Automatically collected and aggregate analytics data is retained for as long as it is useful for the purposes described above.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides you with specific rights. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, phone), commercial information (such as your inquiry and company details), and internet or network activity (such as Site usage). We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 3.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion; the right to correct inaccurate information; and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise these rights, contact us as described below; we will verify your request before responding.

We operate in the United States and may use service providers located in other countries, including the European Union. As a result, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than the one in which it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. You can still control cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

The Site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
